I have been using Aditsite for my personal records for quite a number of years now. I recently acquired a new laptop with Windows 7 but cannot transfer my records from another laptop [Vista]. I assume this is because the program is protected to avoid piracy. What can I do?
I do have a disc that I think you sent me in 2008 when I had a problem [cannot remember just what] but that gives the same error message, Error No. 339 'COMDLG32.OCX' problems

Hi
The program is not 'protected', but in common with most windows
software, it needs to
be properly installed on the new machine, not just copied onto the
hard drive.
You should have an installation CD which you can use to create a basic
installation on
the new machine, before copying across your data. If not, the safest
option would be to send
me a backup of your existing system (on CD), that I can use to build a
new installation set.
