I am using aditmap and have been for some years. I am finding it
impossible to send the maps to other people for discussion as they do
not seem to be able to read them without a version of adit. This is a
nuisance, not only for discussion, but my papers are increasingly
having
to be submitted electronically. Yes, I can scan in detail, and use
the
resultant jpeg, but I would prefer to save the maps in a convenient
form
for email etc. Am I missing something, or is this something the
system
will not do. My system is XP professional

Hi

Obviously the best thing to do would be to get them all to buy our
software ..........

I have taken the liberty of posting your query on the AditSite forum
http://groups.google.com/group/aditsite?hl=en as it may be of interest
to others.

I will answer it there, but briefly

Using AditMap

Either of the following

Edit/Copy Map Image - paste into paint (and save as jpeg) or word as
part of document.

or

File/Export as Bitmap to save directly to disk.

Using AditSite

Either of the following

Edit/Copy

or

Create a document layout that includes the map output.

You could of course also use print with a pdf print driver as the
chosen 'printer'
(cutepdf is very good and free for personal use)
The created pdf can then be sent as an email attachment.

Hope this helps
