Arlen,
There is a Mid-Hudson Dance Calendar that famous musician Jay Ungar runs.
http://www.ashokan.org/ashokan/fdndances.shtml
He wants us to add our dance listings to their Mid-Hudson Dance Calendar using the arnb.org system. See: http://www.arnb.org/howtopost.php
I don’t want to add to your workload…only consider doing this if it’s fairly easy.
If everything has to be manually entered online, I’m not sure it’s worth pursuing. But maybe there’s a way to just send them a file.
As a calendar guru, I thought you might have some ideas about this.
Thanks,
Don

Hum, Don, think Arlen can set
something up with the website that automatically updates their calender when we
update ours?

Hi Bill
Thanks again to you and Liz for working with us at Ashokan Civil War
Days for a reduced fee. It went so well!!!
I mentioned the Mid Hudson Dance Calendar while you were here, talked
our new online format and the fact that dances sponsored by the
Flurry are no longer listed. For years our online dance calendar was
only available to member organizations who paid an annual fee and
were also in the printed FDNews. This was to cover time involved in
putting both the paper and online editions together.
Now that we're using arnb.org as the engine for the online calendar
there are no costs of time or money at our end, so we can offer
inclusion in the online Mid Hudson Dance Calendar at no charge. The
print version still have an annual fee.
Can you please either pass this on to the person responsible or talk
it over with him or her. We'd love to include the Flurry dance events
on the page.
All the best
Jay
