It's a bad situation if only the most cynical white man can advocate unapologetically and canonically for white people as such. This person would have enough humanheartedness or divinity qua ubermensch-style superiority that no credible attack would be politically viable. I don't think we want that guy to have power, but maybe that's the best we can hope for. The earnest Chinese nationalist is closer to the Calvinist sweaty humble Christian than almost anyone else.
