Anyone interested in doing and/or organizing some caroling at Occupy Boston?

Kelley (who does their music&entertainment scheduling) sounded me out
about this last week, and I love the idea. I'm not qualified to lead
carols myself, but I know a bunch of you are, and I'm happy to help
coordinate.

Details are all up in the air, but I don't think it would have to be a
single time or a single group or a single repertoire. For reference,
here's the Occupy Boston calendar:
http://wiki.occupyboston.org/wiki/Calendar

I think Ruth pointed out that "Good King Wenceslas" should certainly be done.
My favorite Xmas carol is "Chariots" (a.k.a. "The Carol of the
Alliteration") by John Kirkpatrick, but it may not be a good choice:

Definitely interested; have collection of lyrics to some standard, and not so standard, but way fun wassailing, caroling and peace type songs. Let's talk.

Sing!

Kelley says:
"I think we should have a lot of Holiday spirit there on the weekends.
Anything you all can do to help we appreciate this."

She has the Davis Square carolers coming at noon this Sunday. (Not
clear if that's a one-off or ongoing; I've asked her to put me in
touch with them.)

So -- Joel and Anabel and anyone else who's up for _actually
organizing a carol sing_: I encourage you to look at the calendar
(http://wiki.occupyboston.org/wiki/Calendar) and let me know what
timeslots look good and how many you and your people are likely to be
up for. Feel free to use whatever repertoire you like.

BTW, Joel's caroling mob has a web page: http://carolingmob.org/

Also, if you're interested in chant, you might want to ping Dave
Woessner (cc'd) -- apparently there's a chant group at Harvard Div.
School that's trying to get something together for Occupy Boston,
possibly Wed. night.

I'm tabling at craft fairs the next two weekends, but weekday, week-evening, or the 17th are possible for me.  Shall we sing "Masters In This Hall"?
