Attached is the song 'Twas a Wonder in Heaven from the album/CD American Folk Songs for Christmas by the Seeger families.
I'd like to suggest this song since it is easily lead. Each verse has a solo line followed by the chorus (By and by); and this pair is repeated twice more. It is fitting since it refers to saving Mary and the baby from the wrath of King Herod the Great.
