Hello,

When I use dial, and there is an error, the return value is "error". is there a way to understand what was the error ?

Thanks,
Ido

Currently that's all we pass down. If you need more, please file a feature request. Please also include example logs of such cases :)

does Asterisk or freeswitch hangup variable can be used after dial, or will they point to different status ?

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to.

For example with Asterisk will DIALSTATUS variable or HANGUPCAUSE will point to the proper reason ?
Or with FS the hangup_cause variable will be set to the proper value

DIALSTATUS is only set if you use the Asterisk Dial() app, which we do not. HANGUPCAUSE and hangup_cause relate to a particular channel, and the only channel you have a handle on is the A-leg, so no, those are not useful either.
