interop with Build Management

Hi,

Perhaps part of the discussion can look into how Adept can integrate with other build management systems. Since Adept does not have a build management and automation capabilities this is one area that needs a lot of thought and focus to get things right. 

Adept needs to update caches and also interact to prevent multiple downloads. Also cache formats change in some frameworks.

Also it can use the dependency management capabilities of some of the build management platforms in some cases. (Cases where Adept cannot add value.) Need to think about. 

In addition to providing a fall back resolution when the build management platform fails to locate the artifacts properly.

Also the ability specify a repo plus version and branch dependency to check out from a repo and build the project at a particular version is a nice feature to have in Adept.
