Hey everybody!
It has been somewhat calm on this mailing list lately, but I have been working quite a bit on Adept and I have to say it is coming together quite nicely!

I have just started a blog here: http://adepthub.com/blog and the first article is about the Resolution engine: http://adepthub.com/blog/2014/02/19/resolution-engine-0

I am currently finishing up the last pieces to be able to download resolved results in sbt, but I would love thoughts on the resolution engine before I put the finishing touches on the sbt plugin.

Hope you guys are well and I am looking forward to a nice and adept discussion in the months that come ;)
Fredrik

Have a new screen cast out (if you missed the last one it is in the last blog article): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0yM8klmSfw
Shows off (finally) Adept doing a real job: starting with nothing, you get akka (imported from Ivy) and later play, resolve and download the artefacts you need.
Also introduces the lock file which I have been planning on doing a long time. The lock file contains all the requirements and  artefacts needed to resolve.
As long as you (or your friends/colleagues) are not actually updating the dependencies, adept only makes sure it has the artefacts on the class path.

Hope you guys like it. I am writing up on the blog too, but I am currently travelling (again) so it will not be finished till next thursday I think :( Sorry for the delays...

Just another update to those who are interested: I was planning on writing up on the repository format, but while doing so I noticed some wrong choices I had made so I am rewriting that part. Earlier I was doing some fancy Git operations, but it become quite brittle and complicated as I was moving forward. Therefore I am simplifying things.
I hope to have the blog article next week and then a proper release.

Enjoy you weekends
