Hi,

I've installed adeona (photo enabled) on my mac desktop since several
month.

Is there a way to retrieve the photo it takes ? I've seen the server
part of adeona is down, is there a local storage ?

adeona won't work until openDHT will be up again.

As you can read there's a free opensource alternative called prey. It has a lot of features, including sending screenshots and photos from the cam of the thief.

Just go to http://preyproject.com and follow the instructions.

Hey guys,

Is Prey supposed to be in All Spanish? That makes it kinda difficult to use..... I took 4 years of Spanish in High School, but we never really covered all these technical computer terms.... Anyone have any tips or a step by step how to?

ummhh.. where did you find it? I googled a while but wasn't able to find.. can u share a link?

Anyway i talked to the prey's developper teamleader and seems that prey is actually developped only for linux and os x. As you can see from the official site prey's linux and osx versions are up to date, the windows version isn't. There was a windows developper, but he abandoned the project. Anyway the source code is public available.. if there's a window developper available that could share his efforts for this project just send a mail here at this googlegroup. (couldn't it be better to open a prey googlegroup?)
