Hi Guys,

I have been using freenet for the last few months and it struck me
that it is a secure, anon information storage network which could be
usefull to store the Adeona data.

I am no CS guy, but I asked the guys on #freenet at freenode irc:

[21:15] <@saces> or teach adeona how to talk with nodes/plugins.
[21:15] <@saces> so you can use *any* freenet node to use this
service.
[21:16] <digger3> saces: that another option, new clients would be
nice :)
[21:16] <digger3> uhm, server implementations... well whatever
[21:25] <digger3> zambam: feel free to tell the adeona developers
about freenet :)

more info on freenet - http://freenetproject.org/

I am thinking that perhaps 10 or 20 freenet nodes could run a service
in freenet that would receive data from Adeona clients (in freenet
protocol? - quite secure as i understand)

the data would be distributed and stored, perhaps a timer could
request the data periodically till an alloted time is up or more data
from that user has been received.

to retrieve - perhaps login to adeona service webpage in freenet? or
use key to retrieve your data etc? many scenarios are possible...

A thought, as the network, protocol & clients/nodes already exist -
perhaps just a service needs to be created to run in the freenet
nodes, and the client configured to connect with them.
Im throwing the idea out there, as i have no skill in coding etc.

I do have 2 freenet nodes available (with healthy bandwidth) for any
trials etc.
It would be great to get Adeona running again.
