Consistent Natural Double

This flowered about a year ago and I thought it was just a one off;  however, I marked the label that it was a possible double and this morning it flowered again with the same strange 10 petals, 7 around the edge and 3 central

it is pollen steile.

Here is another from this cross which flowers quite normally and has been grafted and used as a parent:

I put the pollen of the new double 'Blue Spirit' seedling onto the consistent double and can only hope.  I have also, to-day, cut a little off and made some 4 grafts onto mature plants to see if I can use it as a parent for violet doubles
