Hey Guys

Any of you interested in or planning to attend Rails Camp 2009?
The details are here in case you're interested.

"Imagine yourself and a posse of like-minded ruby hackers on a country
retreat with zero internet for a weekend of fun. You'll laugh, hack,
learn, cry (well, you probably won’t cry… but you know… it felt
poetic) and most likely play a crap-load of guitar hero."

When: Starts on the afternoon of Friday November 20th, and runs until
midday on Monday the 23rd 2009.
Where: VICTORIA, At the Lord Somers Camp (map), on Westernport Bay,
south-east of Melbourne.
Travel: They are planning a bus from Melbourne Central or similar.
Cost: $180

Book quick as I heard tickets are almost all sold out!

Full details here: http://railscamps.com/

The event got a mention at RailsConf this year and one of the
organisers was presented an award.

It would be great to have a heaps good SA delegation heading along!

Indeed, there's only a handful of tickets left, so you really want to
book fast if you've not done so already.

Other things to note:
* announcements for Rails Camps always happen on the Ruby and Rails
Oceania and Rails Camp lists
http://groups.google.com/group/rails-oceania
http://groups.google.com/group/railscamp
We try to get to the other lists, but obviously weren't great at that
this time around.
* I'm sure most of you were aware (and probably there!) - Adelaide
hosted Rails Camp 4 a year ago, and it was a fantastic weekend :)

(And yes, it feels odd adding to this thread when you've mentioned me,
but just want to make sure people are aware they need to grab a spot
now if they've not done so yet).

Just following up on this topic - tickets have sold out, but if you
missed out and still want to come, there's a thread on the rails-
oceania list you should reply to:
http://groups.google.com/group/railscamp/browse_thread/thread/bfcd2ac176b39d19

Cheers
