The Velveeta Telethon!
Move over Jerry Lewis, there's a new Telethon in town. Comedians Alan
Metoskie & Chuck Watkins host and headline a weekend of delirious
sketch comedy, bizarre variety acts, brilliant stand-up comedy, and
surprise celebrity call-ins in this phony phone bank parody. Get
ready for Get-Rick-Quick Gurus, corrupt Televangelists, oversized
money thermometers, Scott & Stacy, ruffled tuxedos and lots and lots
of laughs.
Alan Metoskie is the founding member of the notorious Austin sketch
group THINK TANK and has been performing standup and improv since
1999, most recently at Second City in Chicago.
Chuck Watkins is an Austin comic who also performs musical comedy
under the alias of "fourtrack-blackjack" and has produced such
fantastic Velveeta shows as "The Clue Show" & "The VaudeVillain
Comedy Massacre."
