SCOTT & STACEY NEWSLETTER
APRIL 2007

===========

HAPPY 4/20!!!
(No, dumbass, we're not celebrating Hitler's birthday)

Hope all is well with everyone.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and dumbasses from Houston
are drinking themselves silly and throwing their Heinekin bottles into
Barton Creek.

Yes, springtime in Austin is here!!!

You've got a one month window to make it down here before it gets hot
as hell.

Heavens. We got a lot of news. Grab yourself a tall one and settle in
for the ride.

"FULL METAL SLACKS" AND "SAFETY FIRST" ON COMEDY CENTRAL

Okay. There. We've said it. Sorry for all the teasing.

Finally, after months of negotiations and back room haggling, you can
see the latest AD&D Productions hits, "Safety First" and "Full Metal
Slacks" on the Comedy Central Motherload website!

Or, well, "Full Metal Slacks" is up there now. We're not sure where
"Safety First" is yet.

http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/?ml_video=82419

Apparently Comedy Central sometimes shows these web clips at like 2
a.m. But we
have no details. Let's just say that people watching TV at 2 a.m.
aren't particularly
the most "lucid" folks in town.

Enjoy!

...and in more TV news...

"SAFETY FIRST" AND "LSD A GO GO" ON TV!!!

Apple TV, that is..

Boston, Mass. area Mac consultants Tech Superpowers have teamed up
with the Independent Film Festival (IFF) of Boston to offer the IFF
Boston 5th Anniversary Limited Edition Apple TV.

The $349 Apple TV arrives pro-configured with 17 festival films and
shorts from the
past 5 years of IFF events. $50 of the proceeds go to support the film
festival.

The company is also offering the "Titanium Package," the special
edition Apple TV with a "Chrome Pass", which provides IFF of Boston
showgoers to all film screenings
and the accompanying parties, for $500.

The system comes pre-loaded with the following:

Shorts:
"A Ninja Pays Half My Rent" directed by Steven Tsuchida
"Spam-KU: I Wrote a Haiku About Spam" directed by Steven Tsuchida
"Met State" directed by Bryan Papciak
"Safety First" directed by Scott Calonico
"LSD-A-GO-GO" directed by Scott Calonico

It's worth noting that the Apple TV is ready to work with your own Mac
and iTunes;
to sync (rather than stream) content, however, you're going to have to
delete the Apple TV's existing content.

(I just cut & pasted from the press release. Pretty sharp, huh?
I think I'm now qualified to get a job working for the mainstream
media in Iraq.)

MONDO FLORIDA

We're back from Florida!! Oh man. What a great time. Saw lots of
great movies, ate some good food, got sunburned, listened to some New
Age Music and Enya while lost in Kissammee, and was trapped in
a pretty nice hotel because you can't get around anywhere in Orlando
without
a car.

We were honered to be part of the shorts jury, along with journalists
from
US Weekly and Film Threat. Saw enough short films to make most people
puke.
And, thankfully, there wasn't anything to excruitiatingly painful.

We had a good crowd for the midnight screening of "My Day in (Fake TV)
Court"
and the test screening of "Mondo Intro".

Lots of laughs for "My Day" and got some great responses for "Mondo
Intro",
but we're not quite there yet. Need to do a little bit of recutting,
mixing and trimming. Believe it
or not, creating a feature length film out of public domain footage
isn't quite as simple as it sounds. So he'll be back in the cutting
room and hopefully we'll have some screenings in the fall.

On a sad note, this is the second time in a year we've been to Orlando
and didn't get
to go to Disneyworld.

SCOTT AND STACEY - "WE JUST WANT TO BE ALONE"

Yes, things have been quiet on the Scott and Stacey front, but that's
only because we don't want to give you too much of a good thing.

We will, however, be gracing the stage once again with our presence in
the next couple of months.

We'll be doing a show in May at the world famous Velveeta Comedy Club
on Austin's Sixth Street as part of the "Velveeta Telethon". In June,
we'll be part of "Comedy Duo Month" at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre.

We'll include more specific dates and times in our newsletter next
month.
Until then, please enjoy some of the clips that we've put up on the
interwebs.
