FLORIDA FILM FESTIVAL - IT'S "MONDO-RIFFIC"
March 30, 2007

We've been keeping this one close to our chests - you know how top
secret things are over here - but it's time to let the cat (or as we
call them in our house "pee bandit") out of the bag...

"Mondo Intro", our first ever feature length production, will be
screening this Friday at the Florida Film Festival in Orlando.
Proceeding the feature will be a short documentary about our
appearance on the Judge Joe Brown TV show.

It's a whole damn evening devoted to documentary craziness and WE'RE
RUNNING THE SHOW!!!!

"MONDO INTRO"

The ingenious director of "The King and Dick" (FFF 2003), "LSD A Go
Go" (FFF2005), and "Safety First" (FFF 2006) returns with the ultimate
ephemeral, talking-head guide to white, male-dominated Cold War
America. In the tradition of The Atomic Cafe, Festival favorite Scott
Calonico takes the viewer on a tour through the seamy underbelly of
the United States, circa 1950-1969, as culled entirely from industrial
and "Mental Hygiene" films.

With a surreal cast of celebrity guests, including Postmaster General
Lawrence O'Brian, journalist Edward R. Murrow, and funnyman Harvey
Korman, this is the definitive look at the world as seen through the
clear, confident eyes of Old White Guys in Cool Sixties Suits.

At turns hypnotic, horrifying, and very, very, funny, Mondo Intro
presents a history both familiar yet foreign, of a time unflaggingly
optimistic, yet brutally--and tactlessly--unsentimental.
