Indeed there's an overflowing Joy like a river in my heart each day since I choose to followed Christ Jesus and have accepted Him to be my personal Lord and savior through water baptism. And also this songs keep reminding me of how important it is to have Jesus in me and how important it will be to be with him in heaven at the end of my journey here on Earth. I pray may God Almighty Grant us His grace to be with at the last day.. Amen ?.

Joys are flowing like a river,
Since the Comforter has come;
He abides with us forever
Makes the trusting heart his home.
Refrain:
Blessed quietness, holy quietness,
Blest assurance in my soul,
On the stormy sea, speaking peace to me,
How the billows cease to roll.
During this Season of Creation, let us dwell on those heartbeats: our own and those of our mothers and grandmothers, the heartbeat of creation and the heartbeat of God. Today they do not beat in harmony; they are not harmonized in justice and peace. Too many of our brothers and sisters are prevented from drinking from that mighty river. Let us heed our call to stand with the victims of environmental and climate injustice, and to put an end to the senseless war against creation.
How can we contribute to the mighty river of justice and peace in this Season of Creation? What can we, particularly as Christian communities, do to heal our common home so that it can once again teem with life? We must do this by resolving to transform our hearts, our lifestyles, and the public policies ruling our societies.
If all the Music died, / And music-makers ceased, / I think you'd stand and sing / A hymn of Hope and Peace. / If nights of doubts and fears / Against the Light were hurled, / I think you'd light a candle / And stand against the world. / If winds of changing times / Up-rooted trees and sod, / I think instead of mocking, / You'd stand in praise of God. / The courage of your life / Is like a work of art / Inscribed by Memory's hand / Upon my grateful heart.
How blessed is the tie that binds / Our hearts in lasting love, / The comradeship of kindred minds / Is like to that above. / So when at last we have to part / In sorrow and in pain, / We know we still are joined in heart / Until we meet again.
I am standing upon that foreshore, a ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, "there! she's gone!"
"Gone where?" "Gone from my sight, that's all", she is just as large in mast and spar and hull as ever she was when she left my side; just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of her destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at that moment when someone at my side says, "there! she's gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "here she comes!" And that is dying.
When tomorrow starts without me, / and I'm not here to see, / if the sun should rise and find your eyes, filled with tears for me. / I wish so much you wouldn't cry, / the way you did today, / while thinking of many things / we didn't get to say. / I know how much you love me, / as much as I love you, / and each time you think of me, / I know you'll miss me too. / When tomorrow starts without me, / don't think we're far apart, / for every time you think of me, / I'm right there in your heart.
In our present world of sorrow / Of heartache and despair, / Never feel alone forsaken / For God is always there. / When life's path is rough and rocky / Seems more than we can bear, / There's a blessed friend to guide you / For God is always there. / We can overcome life's trials / And our many troubles bear, / For we have a faithful helper / Our God is always there.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
I wandered so aimless, my heart filled with sin / I wouldn't let my dear Savior in / Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night / Praise the Lord, I saw the light / (Chorus) / I saw the light, I saw the light / No more darkness, no more night / Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight / Praise the Lord, I saw the light / Just like a blind man I wandered alone / Worries and fears, I claimed for my own / Then like the blind man that God gave back his sight / Praise the Lord, I saw the light / (Chorus) / I was a fool to wander and stray / Straight is the gate and narrow the way / Now I have traded the wrong for the right / Praise the Lord, I saw the light / (Chorus) /
God saw I was very ill and a cure was not to be. / So, Jesus put his arms around me and whispered "Come with me". / I know it broke your hearts to see me go after only a short while of me being with you. / But remember that Heaven needs angels, pure, sweet and innocent like me, to watch over you. / So be happy and rejoice knowing that I am where God needs me to be.
I am just a little baby / And I didn't linger there; / I went straight to be with Jesus / And I'm waiting for you here. / Many dwelling here where I live / Waited years to enter in; / Struggled through a world of sorrow / And their lives were marred with sin. / So, dear parents, don't you sorrow, / I'm not held in death's cold tomb. / I have gone to be with Jesus / Wipe those tears and chase the gloom. / Thank you for the life you gave me, / It was brief, but don't complain, / I have all of heaven's glory: / Suffered none of earthling's pain. / Thank you for the name you gave me, / I'd have liked to brought it fame / Had I lingered in earth's shadows / Might instead have brought it shame. / 'Tho you miss me please remember / I'm of all God's lambs most blest; / I'd have loved to stay there with you / But our shepherd knows what's best.
When the pain rises up and engulfs you.
Be kind to yourself.
Lay low and let the tears flow like a river, release, open the floodgates, let it out.
Your love is like a river flowing from my heart
Your love is like a fire that will light my way
Your love is like a rock that I am standing on
Your love is like a river flowing from my heart
A good military commander that has trained well can pattern match in real time which looks to others like an intuitive feeling for how to manage the battle. The German tank commanders could see where the enemy was weak and know to focus their efforts there. Similarly, good business leaders are able to draw on their experience to know where to focus their effort and resources.
If you have all three of these together, it looks like very much like flowing like water. During the German blitzkrieg (which reached Paris in an astoundingly short time), you had all these factors operating together.
Then the enemy retreats to try and form a new line and the same process repeats. Little probes eventually find a weak point and the rest of the forces flow through. The troops are flowing like water, moving through the enemy lines at the point of least resistance.
Zhuge emphasizes the advantages of unexpectedness and speed, capable of reversing otherwise insurmountable odds: Planning should be secret, attack should be swift. When an army takes its objective like a hawk striking its prey, and battles like a river broken through a dam, its opponents will scatter before the army tires. This is the use of the momentum of an army.
Note: Blitzkrieg. Momentum is such a critical component to success.
