I think ADC2 might go along the lines of ADC1 in terms of application completeness. I don't think they expect us to build a fully working app in 2 months. May be the concept and the idea will hold a lot of weight in awarding points.

What y'all think?

Yeah, you have a point. But also you can't expect normal users who will also have a portion of the votes to take it that way.

Normal users would expect a complete working application. I'm not sure
how a social networking application can be build in 2 months?

Hope, the final rules explains this in clear terms.

if i was going to go the social networking route, i'd do what i could
to implement google wave in some way/shape/form.

would probably score large amounts of brownie points with judges.

Google Wave might unleash some winners in this ADC2. I'm not considering it since its not open to everyone yet.
