Hi ADb Users,
I have a need to load my ADb software onto a Windows 7 PC however the software disk will not work.  I have tried it on multiple PC's even Windows XP.  Makes a whirring sound and just refuses to load.  I have Installation Key, but obviously cannot get to this position to verify.  Does anyone have any ideas, or has had similar issue.  The disk does not appear to be damaged.  I know  Astrodienst will not sell the software, but wonder if they could provide new disk - but don't how to go about this.  I am in Australia.
I would be grateful for any advice.

I am afraid Astrodienst does not have any of these software disks, and as the product was nover sold by us, we do not feel responsible for problems of that kind.

CDROM disks do have a limited life time. A version 3 CDROM must be over ten years old, by now.

If you are lucky, ony of the readers of this mailing list can create a copy of his/her own disk and send it to you. If it is done without giving the installation key, there is no violation of copyright.

This is a serious answer
If you rub toothpaste all over non-working CD's and wash them under a running tap a few times they will often work again.
I saw a 12 year old kid on Youtube describing it and it didn't work the first time, but I tried again and it did!
