Hi

I wonder if you can help me. We have the above fundraising website in the UK - whenever you buy something online from many sites a donation is automatically made to your chosen charity project. I am finding that although I have signed up to this website none of my donations are getting through and I suspect it might be because of an Adblock filter. While there is no way I want to stop using Adblock, which is the most wonderful invention in the world, it seems a shame to miss out on getting these free donations to my charity project. Has anyone else come across this problem? Can you advise me on what to do to solve it. Many thanks in advance.

Christine

Does disabling AdBlock on the website (AdBlock Button > Disable on pages on this domain) fix this?

Give ti a try and let me know if it works. That way we know whether it is AdBlock's fault, or the fault of something else, either in your browser or you computer.

Hi Kieran

Thanks for your quick response. I guess it might work - as long as I remember to do it every time I am buying online. I can certainly try it for the future. I will e-mail the easyfundraising people and see if they can suggest any way of getting back past donations that have been missed.

To automatically pause AdBlock when you go to the site (and unpause it when you leave) go to the website and choose "Don't run on pages on this domain" and follow the instructions.

You can also add

to AdBlock button > Options > Customise

Hi Kieran
Sorry for the delay - as far as I can see, if I remember to pause Adblock everything is OK. Thanks for your help.

Christine
