I know this may seem like sort of a whiny request, but I would like to disable adblock to allow ads to show on one tab while I have a copy of that tab open with adblock enabled.

The situation is as follows: I watch streams regularly on twitch.tv and I want to support the streamers by allowing their ads to 'count' me as a viewer. I just don't *actually* want to watch the ads. So, to solve this problem I just open a copy of the stream and mute/ minimize it with adblock disabled so they still get their money and I get my peace of mind by not being disturbed by pesky ads. The problem, however, is that adblock seems to automatically update across my tabs even if I don't refresh the initial window that I want to keep ad-free.

Is there any way to accomplish this? Or is the filter system on adblock fairly rigid when it comes to things like this?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

I suppose you could open an Incognito Window (Ctrl-Shift-N) which by default does not run your extensions. - Michael
