Hi Mike,

I've recently purchased Adaptrade Builder. Reading about it, I think it is a great product. I'm planning to install it on a cloud-based VPS. Question: Can you recommend a VPS provider and the appropriate setup of CPU and RAM for an intense usage of Adaptrade Builder?

Thanks,

Zvi

I don't know about VPSs, but as far as CPU and RAM go, the more cores the better on the CPU and at least 16 GB RAM (or more if you plan to build on more than half a million bars).

I'd really recommend running it on local hardware unless you're going to opt for a dedicated VPS plan. I have the Alpha Mark-3 plan and it doesn't touch the performance that I get from my desktop build that I put together earlier this year. Definitely utilize a VPS to test the strategies with live data. But I'd stick to local hardware for generating strategies with Adaptrade Builder, unless you're going to a dedicated server with a beefy CPU.
