I've been running AB on a Windows Server 2008 R2 and I messed up with the Equity, Trades and Code windows so I decided to uninstall and reinstall it.
I have no error messages during the installation, however when launching the program won't open and I get  the following Windows error message:

First, just let me clarify that Windows Server has never been a supported platform for Builder. I don’t test on that platform and can’t guarantee how or if it will install or run on that configuration of Windows.

Having said that, if you’ve already uninstalled through the control panel, you should remove the registry entry as well. The registry entry is shown in the user’s guide in the section on changing the pane layout in Getting Started (Program Layout and Configuration):  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adaptrade Software\Builder. Hopefully, this applies to Windows Server as well. I would also look for any other references to Builder in the registry and delete those as well. If you’re unfamiliar with the registry, you can access it using the Windows regedit program; type “regedit” into the search box in the Windows Start menu. After deleting the registry entry or entries, you can try re-installing.

The only other issue I would be aware of is conflict with an antivirus program. Those programs tend to affect Windows at a very low level, which can cause conflicts with other software.

Thank you, Miike, deleting the AB's registry and reinstalling the program it worked.
Should be of any interest for you, I've been using AB on a Windows Server for months without any problem.
