Mike,

Is there any way to run Monte Carlo stress testing after I have found some good possible strategies?

I would like to run Builder without stress testing, and find 5 to 10 Top Results strategies.  Then, on just those good candidates, I would like to run the Monte Carlo stress testing.

Is there any way to do that?  That would save a huge amount of time by not running Monte Carlo during the normal build process.

Let me know if this is possible.

Thanks,
John

Certainly. As it states in the user's guide (Build Settings, Stress Testing):

"Stress testing can either be applied during the build process or after-the-fact when re-evaluating a strategy using the Evaluate command."

HI Mike,

Ok, thanks.  I will re-read that section of the manual.  I must have missed that when I read it, or didn't understand the significance.

Gratefully,
John
