Mike,

Recognizing AB can code in MT4, I only recently noticed that OANDA is no longer supporting MT4 and appears to be using a modified version under their own label.  Would you know if they are using MT5 with the front end just looking different?  Would you know if MT4 code can be rescripted to a MT5 format using an AI platform like Chatgpt or Gemini?

I think MT5 is quite a bit different than MT4. I haven't tried a LLM for converting between the two. Maybe someone else on this forum has?

Both are based on C but the commands are different. MT4 = 32 bit and MT5 = 64 bit. 

An LLM will work but you’ll need to guide it appropriately.
