Building exclusively on "non-primary" data sources

Perhaps I've missed something in the manual or discussion group.  

I'm interested in building strategies where the conditions for entry and exit are created using only supporting data series. Is that possible in Builder?

There’s no way to specifically exclude the primary data series from consideration during the build process. Of course, like any other element, if it’s not beneficial, it will be evolved out of the population.
