Hi Adaptdev community,
Sharing a new Asia Foundation publication that may be of interest. On the Right Tack: Reflections on Coalition-building Initiatives across The Asia Foundation.
In this series of six case studies, we examine the use of coalition-building approaches that are inherently adaptive: policy and institutional reforms in the Philippines, subnational governance reforms in Nepal and Sri Lanka, education reforms in Thailand, and private sector development in Bangladesh and Timor-Leste. Our perspective on adaptive management is that it should be highly contextualized. This enables us to put people, relationships, and working partnerships at center stage in development practice, where sustained cooperation can be prioritized over short-term outputs and deliverables.
That’s my pitch 😊😉
Hope you find time to take a look.
Cheers
Nicola
