Dear Adaptive Development Community,

You might be interested in this training about how to build M&E systems to support adaptive development. This year Steff Deprez of Voices That Count and I are taking our Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning course on the road in collaboration with partner ADIC – come join us in beautiful Siem Reap the week of May 27 – 31st.

What is the course about?

Participatory processes to monitoring and evaluation can provide key insights into how change unfolds through the lived experiences of those engaged directly in the change processes. In conditions of complexity, this view from within the system is crucial to understanding emergent causal pathways. This course offers you the opportunity to learn about and apply frontier methods for quality implementation of participatory processes at scale to support learning-focused and complexity-aware M&E systems.

What will you learn?

·         Critically interrogate and analyse methods, identify their strengths and weaknesses and understand how to adapt and contextualise their use.

·         Integrate methods in M&E design and adapt participatory methods to address M&E challenges you are facing.

·         Develop a coherent plan to take back to your organisation.
