Join the online masterclass from Monday, April 22, 2024 - Thursday, April 25, 2024 to learn all of the foregoing and much more!

Aim of workshop: To give practical tips for researchers and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) practitioners on how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude.ai and Perplexity.ai) to analyse qualitative data. The course covers:

• Introduction to the different AI tools (and assistance to determine the best AI model for your needs)
• How to write proper prompts
• Real-world examples where AI has been instrumental in research and evaluation.
• Ethics in the use of AI
• Data protection and privacy
• Creating your own AI assistant
• "Hands on" exercises on how data can be input, processed, and analyzed.

Target Audience: Researchers, development and M&E professionals who are at varying stages of their career. The assumption is that most people would never have used AI or have heard of the tools, so the workshop will be pitched at an introductory level. 

Duration: The workshop is via Zoom and consists of 2 live sessions with the facilitator and 2 sessions of self-paced learning. The self-paced learning will consist of making your own AI assistant as 'home work" The course is highly interactive with demonstrations.

The live sessions (to be on Zoom) are scheduled for

• Tuesday, April 23, 2024 (self-paced) - 1 hour
• Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (self-paced) - 1 hour
• Thursday, April 25, 2024 (live session) - 2 hours

All live sessions begin at 11:00am EST/ 5:00pm CEST. Run time is 2 hours
