Hello AdaptDev and Local Systems friends and colleagues,
I thought some of you might be interested in my recent piece on Corruption in health systems: Context, incentives and the political economy of reform.
It's a synthesis of 40 papers reporting on research funded by the FCDO through the Anti-Corruption Evidence programmes, which develops and outlines a "regulatory landscaping" approach to understanding and engaging with the causal (yep, causal, complex and emergent) dynamics of corruption.
My linkedIn post is
here and the full report, including a short executive summary, is
here.
You might be able to spot the influence of the community gardening I've been getting into in the last year or so, and the explorations of complexity, systems, behaviours, relationships and learning that have been my focus in recent years 🌱🐝🌻🌸
Feel free to drop me a line if you have feedback, are exploring similar terrain, or are interested in what regulatory landscaping might look like as regards other complex social challenges.
best wishes,
alan
