My late partner, Marta Russell, was a nationally known disability rights advocate and activist. She was also a committed democratic socialist. Thanks to the efforts of Ravi Malhotra, who is a Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa, a book of essays in honor of Marta will be published later this year or early next year by the British publisher Routledge.
