These are the questions:
1. Note the places where Fussell includes personal experience in the essay. How muuch is his own, how much belongs to others? Why does he include both kinds?
2. Fussell dismisses with contmept those who disagree with him. Locate some examples. How do you respond to them? Are Fussell strategies effective? Would you use them?
3. Mark some instances of Fussell "voice." What kind of voice does he adopt? What kind of person does he present himself as?
