Some parents may not understand when enough is enough, this is shown by living vicariously through their children and pressing them to achieve not only their dreams, but the parents’ dreams they were not able to obtain as student athletes. This pressing, and this mental burden parents impose on their children can be detrimental to the child’s outlook on sports and life as he or she grows to be an adult.

Protecting both a human being’s safety, as well as their right to their own body, the legalization of prostitution will enhance the way of life for all who provide or use the service. Not only will the legalization of this age old profession benefit those directly in contact with it, but also the entirety of the American population. Through heavy taxation, prostitution could aid the country’s struggling economy, and provide abundant revenue for any state willing to legalize it.

What really is the difference between euthanization and the death penalty, as they are both essentially the taking of a life, one with consent the other without? In addition why is the death penalty legal in certain places in America while euthanization is not even though euthanizing is for mercy rather than for punishment?
The gender roles that distinguish between masculinity and femininity are both unnecessary in and detrimental to society as a whole, as these stereotypical norms ultimately contribute to hostility towards any person who does not conform, thus suppressing individual identity and self-expression as well as limiting opportunities for societal growth in the process.

Although regarded with merit for their superpower status and high moral standards, the United States, from an international perspective, has obtained a negative connotation to its name because of its political hypocrisy, acquired social ignorance, and a lack of consideration for its tarnished reputation. Ultimately, this has fueled an army of critics to endorse antagonistic feelings towards the archetypically “arrogant”, “overweight” and “trigger-happy” American, making their character, culture and country perpetual subjects of denunciation.

Working Thesis:
Religion's hypocrisy is made blatant as mentally unstable and cruel characters are praised and worshiped as symbols for what is the church’s idea of ‘right’. Hidden behind the fallacy of purity and acceptance, religion proves to be, instead, corrupt and hateful as it rejects the ideas of anything different or new.
It is proven that the most important decision making part of a human’s brain is not yet developed at the young age of eighteen. The legal age of adulthood in the United States which is eighteen, must be increased because of this scientific evidence. Also, at this age, one is not financially independent from their parents, and is far from being self-sufficient. Changing the legal age to twenty-one will aid in preventing serious issues encountered by immature, and ill-prepared young adults in society.
