pnp4nagios issue on Ubuntu 16.04

Hi,
I am trying to install on Ubuntu 16.04 following the instructions here for Ubuntu 14.04.
I run in to a problem at the install of pnp4nagios -

apt-get install pnp4nagios
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree      
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package pnp4nagios

It sounds as though pnp4nagios will not support php 7 - the default on 16.04.

So my options are downgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 or run as a docker container ?
Any other thoughts.
