I wanted to jot down a few issues that I see occur with the software before you use it.
1. Big drafts (e.g. more than 2000 ends, 1000 pics) - take more time to recalculate. Sometimes this will cause your browser to say the software is non-responsive. We will look into ways to better support these large files but in the meantime, you may still wish to use photoshop to organize and arrange drafts and structures you create with AdaCAD.
2. Files with several chained sequences of operations can sometimes take a long time (~5-10 seconds) to recalculate. This is because a change high up in the chain will have to be recalculated at every step down the operation chain. To solve this, I sometimes disconnect larger operations and drafts at the end of the chain while I adjust parameters high up in the draft.
3. Simulation struggles to render multiple changing layer systems. We're working on it! In the meantime, use the selection feature in the viewer to zoom in on the areas of the draft that you'd like to visualize.
