Hello ACU Members,

On behalf of the NYU ACU Executive Board, we want to extend an apology for any inconveniences you may have incurred at our event this past Wednesday, Asian Flavah, due to the amount of attendees. It was very exciting for us to see so many of our ACU members join us and we would like to thank you all for showing your support, but we know that not everyone was able to enjoy our food.

Due to Kimmel's restrictions regarding room capacity, the sheer amount of people present created a fire hazard and our event was temporarily closed to all in order to more easily move members in and out of the room in an organized fashion. The general impression that many members left with was that ACU was inefficient in its organization of the event, which may be partially true, but Kimmel was unable to accommodate us with a larger room for the night, which led to complications between our organization and Kimmel Operations.

Again, we apologize and will use this experience to improve future events. We hope to see you all again throughout the year, and would like to thank you for making ACU the successful organization that it is.

Our next event will be a volunteer event held on Saturday, October 30 called Halloween for Kids where ACU members dress up in Halloween costumes and run games and activities for underprivileged children. We will be having a sign up for this event, so please be sure to stay updated via Facebook!
