Hello all,
The Minority Pre-Law Association will hold our second general meeting of the year on Tuesday, November 2 at 8pm in Kimmel 805. The MPLA is excited to host NYU Professor Liz OuYang, who will be speaking to us about the historical development of minority law and legal issues affecting minorities today. Prof. OuYang has been a civil rights attorney for over 20 years and was appointed by President Clinton to serve as a special assistant to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She now teaches in the NYU Social and Cultural Analysis Department. For more info on Prof. OuYang, see http://www.huffingtonpost.com/elizabeth-ouyang.
We'll also be introducing the newly elected MPLA E-Board and discussing future events, so please come with ideas.
And as always, there will be free food! Check the event out on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=170319312985368.See you then,
The MPLA E-Board
