It's pretty much what i wanted save for a few exeptions. For instance, i'd like to be able to include USB cabling in the mix, power strips, etc. For example in one diagram i have on paper, i have 3 USB devices connected to my Raspbery Pi. I could not find a way to do this using fritzing.
I already bought ben's kit, but I'm really struggling with doing it on a breadboard and I want to do it with a PCB instead. I've seen this design, but it was modified from the original a bit I think, so I can't use it because I have the original parts. So I'm looking to see if anyone has a Gerber or fritzing file (or anything that serves the same purpose) of the original design. Thanks!
Hi @vanepp a quick follow up, the part worked perfectly for the PCBs I had made. I wrote up a guide on using Fritzing to make a Pico mechanical keyboard here. -pico-mechanical-keyboard-with-fritzing-circuitpython/overview
Also, huge thanks to you for your series on Fritzing part creation, it helped me a lot in figuring out how to revise the Cherry MX keyswitch part.
I've been learning python and have now been tasked with creating a project. The project part is fine but they expect us to learn how to design with html and then implement that code. I understand this is a python subbreddit and my question is not on how to design. I want to know how to use the design created in html such that if I ran the python program I would have that design show up as a sort of pop-up. I wish to make it such that if I run the program a interactive pop up comes that kinda looks like an a4 page. And then u fill the page with the necessary info. Linking me to some sites or just straight up telling me what to learn would be fine. Thanks
I donated and downloaded Fritzing in March 2020 and wanted to re download it and it was nor clear. I just signed up with an account with the same email as the paypay one I used to donate, an download the download links are visible at fritzing.org download page
TODO: I accidentally pulled the wrong(old) version of "fritzing-parts" from git when building the app, which means that the parts library may not contain some very new parts. I will re-build a bug-fixed version in the next 1 or 2 days to update the parts library.
Second, fritzing may not be good at teaching but not make it trash.
Many programmers I know often use Xmind to draw diagrams for their codes(business logic, dependency, etc.) Will Xmind become trash because it's not a good programming teaching software?
Same for fritzing.
I'm using it to make a visible description for some of my projects to let people who have no electronic knowledge understand the basic frame quickly. Of, course I will put some professional diagrams alongside Fritzing picture, so people with different knowledge levels can automatically adapt.
As far as I know, Fritzing is the best way to make those basic diagrams.
Please advise me if you think there is an alternative for Fritzing.
