Register for MRVP Cookie Day 2021!

ACTION STEPS:
- Register for Cookie Day in order to receive the Zoom link! You can register right up until the time of the event, but if at all possible, please try to register by February 26th for our planning purposes. The event will also be live-streamed on the HFF Facebook page.
- All are welcome to attend, so please help spread the word! Be sure to include the registration link when sharing! Anyone who will be attending/viewing the event individually (which is recommended due to COVID), must register individually in order to receive their own Zoom link.
- Talk to families and staff about attending. Click here for a tip sheet for providers on engaging families. Here is a flyer for families about the day.
- Schedule meetings with your legislators for after the Cookie Day program starting at 11am (the program will go from 10am to 10:45am). If you cannot meet with legislators on Cookie Day, a meeting within the days following the event works too! You can find your legislators here. This is a critical part of the day - there is no better way to advocate than one-to-one, so we hope you won't let this opportunity pass! Don't hesitate to let us know if you need support with scheduling meetings. Click here for tips on planning and having legislative meetings.
- Plan to arrive early. Though you won’t have to worry about traffic, parking or long lines getting into the State House this year, it’s a good idea to log-on to the event a few minutes early to make sure everything is working and ready to go!
We have also setup a Facebook event page for MRVP Cookie Day 2021. We invite you to help spread the word through your own Facebook page and social media channels! The event will also stream live on the Homes for Families Facebook page, so that is another way to attend. Check out HFF’s Facebook page here.
