I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro to eliminate compatibility issues with this and other older hardware drivers and got the license key transferred and installed the drivers and Gearbox but still cannot get Line 6 Monkey to connect to the Line 6 server or properly recognize my device.

If this is causing you so much trouble, then the easiest thing to do is not try to run the update over the internet and do a local install, by downloading the stuff you need and using the Line 6 Updater Utility. First you will need the HX Edit v2.92 software, then the Helix LT v 2.92 Flash Memory Bundle.

O.K. go to the "DOWNLOADS" menu at the top of this page and from "-ALL HARDWARE-" select Helix LT, then leave the "-ALL SOFTWARE-" as is, now select Mac OS X from under the "-ALL OS-" tab. from the next page you can select Helix/HX Firmware 2.92 Flash Memory, then below that you will need the HX Edit 2.92. Now scroll further down the page a grab Line 6 Updater version 1.9. Download all these bits to your Mac( they need to be installed in the Line 6 folder inside your Applications Folder). If as you say this a new Helix LT , unless you have made some presets that you wish to keep then they need to be backed up using HX Edit prior to updating the Firmware. If everything if fine then proceed to next step. Ensure that you have your LT connected to the Mac by USB cable and launch the Updater Utility and select "Offline Mode". Your LT and current firmware version should show in the window, click on the dark green coloured band and you should now have the option to select a local file - point it at the Flash Memory file you down loaded and let it get on with the update.

For anyone else having trouble logging into Line 6 (typically with an older device) the issue is due to an intermediate SSL certificate that expired on May 30th. The solution is to download and install new intermediate certificate(s) to your device. They can be found here:

, im trying to up date HX stomp that i just got and the HX Effects that i bought last year, and I cant log in to HX Edith : Cannot reach the servers. Please make sure this computer is connected to the internet.

When asking for assistance from users of the forum, it is helpful to supply as much info as possible. Example: computer type and operating system, Ethernet or wi-fi and anything else vaguely useful to help track down a possible solution. You state you are using a Mac but not the version of OSX - Please note, if you are using Yosemite there are known issues with an expired Security Certificate.

same story 2024 - wasted entire evening trying to connect to this gizmo-- and yes.. no internet connection.. people go and play instrument and dont wast time for corporations entangling you with buy upadate, study informatics, this is all distraction. I'm deleting this lollipope. I thought that buying the effect was going to ba agood option, but now i think it will just detract me from playing and pull me into "click here, click there" game untill all is outdated and stops working.. thanks

A distribution server makes it possible for your organization to expose a limited set of content and history to third parties without needing to provide direct access to your main server. We expect that distribution servers will be deployed in a publicly accessible network with no means of communication to the internal server, effectively air-gapping the third party users from the internal network.

(Optional) The content on the distribution server can be replicated to one or more edge servers in the DMZ.

Replicas of distribution servers can be created. For example, edge servers of the distribution server can be created in geographically distributed locations to provide lower latency sync's to third parties that are far away from the distribution server.

License to use the Distribution Server. Distribution Server is a new feature released at the same time as the 2023.1 release of Helix Core Server. To purchase a Distribution Server license, contact your Perforce account representative.

The steps on this page assume you have logged into the server as the Helix Core user with the access level of super. See Permission levels and access rights in the p4 protect topic of Helix Core Command-Line (P4) Reference. That user can have any name, but for convenience the examples use super:

Without setting up a Centralized changelist server (P4CHANGE) server, only p4 push can create new changelists and the external consumers only need list permission. See Set protections with p4 protect.

I am having a bit of trouble understanding how to install language servers for helix using home-manager. The official wiki points to the programs.helix.languages option, but the example provided there runs into an error:

Plus, running helix --health python for example, displays that (of course) no language server is installed, but also that the LSP is not on $PATH. This worries, since installing the LSP the nix way will, as far as I understand, not expose the LSP executable to $PATH.

In a .helix folder in your project. Language configuration may also beoverridden local to a project by creating a languages.toml file in a.helix folder. Its settings will be merged with the language configurationin the configuration directory and the built-in configuration.

As an example, efm-lsp-prettier of the previous example is used only with a formatting command prettier,so everything else should be handled by the typescript-language-server (which is configured by default). The language configuration for typescript could look like this:

Each requested LSP feature is prioritized in the order of the language-servers array. For example, the first goto-definition supported language server (in this case typescript-language-server) will be taken for the relevant LSP request (command goto_definition).The features diagnostics, code-action, completion, document-symbols and workspace-symbols are an exception to that rule, as they are working for all language servers at the same time and are merged together, if enabled for the language. If no except-features or only-features is given, all features for the language server are enabled. If a language server itself doesn't support a feature, the next language server array entry will be tried (and so on).

There are certain types of files that cannot be merged and therefore must only be changed by one user at a time. Examples include binary files, Microsoft Word files, and digital assets such as 3D models. In Helix, to ensure that only one user at a time writes changes to a file, you assign the file the filetype +l. This gives the user a global exclusive lock on the file when they open it for edit.

You can enable the support of exclusive locking in personal servers for the p4 edit, p4 delete, and p4 revert commands. To do this, pass the --remote=remote option, where remote specifies the shared server from which you cloned the locked file. The lock is held in the shared server. All personal servers which cloned the file from the shared server must observe this lock restriction.

For exclusive locking to work, the shared server must be configured as a commit server. For instructions on how to do this, see "Create commit and edge server configurations" in the "Commit-edge Architecture" chapter of the Helix Versioning Engine Administrator Guide: Multi-site Deployment.

The VarSeq Suite is very resource efficient, but analyzing large genomic data sets requires RAM and CPU resources proportionate to the type of data processed. As the NGS data set scales to exomes and genomes, more RAM is required and it is suggested that more CPU cores are added to perform the analysis.

In general, large workflows are considered to be many-sample whole genome analysis for a single VarSeq user. This also includes cohort analysis of thousands of samples (VarSeq is regularly tested up to 250,000 samples) in a single project, regardless of the number of variants.

A VSWarehouse server should generally be configured with a Medium or Large Workflow configuration depending on the type of data regularly added to the VSWarehouse. Large cohort projects that get regularly updated should be configured with 64GB of RAM.

You can install your Golden Helix software solution on a server with multi-user access and shared resources. Individual users should each have a separate operating system login to the server, so they have a dedicated session and personalized experience. Each user will also take up a single license seat, just as if they were using their own dedicated hardware.

The server hardware requirements should be planned to support have CPU and RAM based on the workflow type listed above per concurrent user. For example, if you expect you may have three active users on a server doing exome analysis, we suggest the server have 48GB of RAM and 24 cores.

On Linux, clients can log in from any operating system using SSH and open the Golden Helix software using X11-tunneling to interact with the software. On windows, we suggest a solution like MobaXterm that provides a all-in-one SSH client and X11 server to enable easy logging in, file transfer and opening of remote GUI applications.

The software only needs to make outgoing connections on standard HTTP/HTTPS ports and protocols. If a local firewall is installed that prevents these types of outgoing connections (this is very uncommon), firewall rules will need to be created to whitelist the software.
