Assalam Dr Fatimah & Dr Athif

Berkenaan budget pembelian peralatan ini, mohon Dr Fatimah dan Dr Athif sediakan proposal pembelian sistem untuk CAIRO seperti di atas.

Dr Fatimah akan prepare berkenaan 3-phase Separation System for Oil and Gas or Process Industries (Boleh form team of 2 or three people for this)

Nak minta Dr Athif cadangkan satu peralatan intelligent industrial automation (Boleh form team of 2 or three people for this)

Kedua2 proposal perlu dibentangkan pada Cairo members and we will decide in the meeting what to buy.

Peralatan/Sistem yang akan dibeli perlu memenuhi ciri2 berikut:

1) Max budget RM5 million - including equipment, installation, training, software etc.

2) Peralatan perlu ada elemen automation and intelligent system

3) We can generate income from the system through training, short courses, consultation etc - please detail out the possibilities

4) Detailed planning for the implementation, maintenance, management usage etc of the system including timeline for the next 5 years (at least)

5) The system must be used for research purpose - outline generally areas of research that can be done using this system.

6) The system can be used for a specific Masters (by Coursework/Mixed-Mode) programmes.

I know it's a bit big but I believe you can do it. Do not do this alone. Please form a team to work out the plans and the details. Need to do some research. Will be a good learning experience for us, planning for a high budget procurement.

I have other people in CAIRO to work on different projects as well.
