ACT Now weekly update

Last week’s Transit Day at the Capitol brought over 200 transit riders and workers from across the state of Georgia to lobby for increased funding. Thanks to everyone who participated in making the day a success. Unfortunately it is only a start to the work needed to make increased transit funding in the state of Georgia a reality.
ACT Now is continuing on to plan more events, reach out to more legislators, and educate more people about the need for transit in Georgia. Please join us at our next meeting, Saturday, February 27th at 10am at MARTA Lindbergh Headquarters.
