Dear Light Rail Website Subscribers,

Just a reminder that the next public meeting of ACT Light Rail will
be
held this Thursday 4th March (18:30-19:30).

We hold meetings on the first Thursday of every month, except for
December and January.

At this meeting, we will be discussing the very poorly prepared Greens
discussion paper on Molonglo. The transport solutions that are
mentioned are ludicrous and rely more on making it harder for people
to park and drive than promote public transport.

Example: only one car space per residence permitted, maximum speed
limit of 30 km/h, taking extra lanes off access roads, building
bicycle super highways.

ACT Light Rail have prepared a response to this discussion paper. A
draft will be available at the meeting for people to discuss.
