This is what we just talked about at IIW

Joseph is also taking suggestions for the main Portable Contacts web
page

Hrm. There are probably some gaps in here that were filled with IRL
conversation...

But, Chris and I had a chat a week or so ago while he was in Toronto
about my helping to revamping the AS site. I'm leaving for an offline
week of vacation on Friday - but when I get back (Nov 16) I'd love to
help/lead this effort.

(I'd also be interested in talking PoCo as well - I think poco is
underrated and would like to help promote it).

Indeed! I should flesh out our notes a bit more, since the list is
just a skeleton of our conversation. We didn't make too many decisions
other than generally talking about the need to create a functioning
website and to define some simple use cases.

OpenID.net was held up as one model (good thing, since I designed
it!), as well as jQuery, Atlassian's OpenSocial page, Yahoo's YDN, and
a few others.

As for the PoCo site, I'd like to develop a common design/aesthethic
or pattern that could be used for the affiliated "open stack" sites:
activity streams, OAuth, Diso, OpenID(?), PoCo, Salmon (?)... So that
it's easy to manage and maintain them, but also shows a clear
relationship among them... for brand/community identity and consistency.

BTW, I really like the look of this site, in terms of its simple and
clear structure:

http://handleopenurl.com/scheme

If we could just rip that off for verb URIs and Object Types, I'd be
pretty happy!
