Since Hurricane Sandy hit NYC 18 months ago, worker centers, labor unions, and community, faith-based, and environmental organizations have been organizing under the AJR banner alon...g side the most vulnerable of Sandy survivors in the hardest-hit neighborhoods in Red Hook, Southern Brooklyn, Staten Island, and the Rockaways to make sure no New Yorker is left behind.

AJR has been successful at making Sandy recovery a priority of the de Blasio administration, and continues to fight for a bold vision of rebuilding that makes our City more just, equitable and climate-resilient!

 

**This week, AJR will also saying goodbye to Nathalie Alegre -- the organizer at ALIGN who has been coordinating the coalition for the last year. Let's celebrate the work of AJR and give one last toast to Nathalie before she embarks in her new adventures!
