Would be nice to have @Form to do ajax calls and destination div updates like @link_to

This is just a feature request. I don't know if there is a easy way to do this. 

Currently if I want to make a ajax data fetch, I can use the @link_to  and set my destination

But if I have a simple form that takes say one simple input field, it would be nice if there was an easy way to convert that to a ajax call and then update a div on the page (or append content that's returned to a div on a page)

maybe so, but the link_to is so overloaded with features already!

We normally use it to create simple links to controllers/actions, and usually write JS specific to project.
