Hello folks,

to save some bandwidth and move forward, I'm considering the following decisions:
- Ruby 1.9.3+ only
- ActiveRecord 3+ required
- "mysql2" adapter support (no more support for older "mysql" adapter)

This will simplify maintenance quite a bit (ie: Travis etc), and I think it's time for that.

Would it be a hassle for anyone here?

Please speak up!

cheers,

Thibaut

I would be okay with that.
We are still on 1.8, but only out of inertia - we are already on rails 3.

People can always use older versions/branches.

Hi Andrew!

I'll start with "mysql2" and AR 3+ then, to wait a bit for 1.9.3 :-)

Thanks for your reply!

cheers,
