Applied the series of patches found scattered around the forum and
added a little fix of mine.

Enjoy:

Thanks for posting this. Very helpful.

I've noticed two strange errors. After update, the update form isn't
closed automatically. I've also noticed strange layout requests. I
use a admin layout for my pages, but find that on update,
activescaffold keeps requesting layout/admin.js.erb. I finallyI'm
guessing the two are somehow related.

Thanks,

-Mario

I found what happened.

I was using this code:
layout "admin", :except => [:show, :create, :edit]

to work around the issue you addressed in the view folder finding
commit: http://github.com/jfernandez/activescaffold/commit/0e380573981ea216d30a9704b55501158ef602ce.

The two fixes were conflicting.

Thanks!

Sadly, I'm bumping into another issue. My form overrides aren't being
loaded.

I think I'm just going to roll back to rails 2.0.2

ATTN: Please stop using this fork for production, just found a major
DB destroying bug.

Actually (this is kinda embarrassing), I had misplaced :dependent
=> :destroy setting and thought that ActiveScaffold was destroying the
record. MY BAD! Still, please use this fork in production at your own
risk.
