So I thought I was going crazy. I couldn't get my app to update records using the databasedotcom gem and a Database.com org.

So I cloned Danny's dbdc_controller project and ran it successfully against a DE org. Worked as expected. I then changed the config to point to a Database.com org and ran the code again. I was not able to update a user record nor any other record in the org.

BTW.. the org is not down per the message below as I can query, create, find, etc and log into the org itself.

The server is returning an error message, and a rather strange one at that (an HTML body).  I say file a bug with Database.com and see what they say about it.

I mean the login URL to database.com.

Also, are you saying you can query fine, just not perform an update? And I'm assuming perms are ok on the user you are authenticating with.

I'm loggin into database.com at: https://app-force-7322.database.com

Everything else works fine. I can query, create, etc. Just take Danny's dbdc_controller code and run it on a database.com org. It no likey it.

Thanks!
