Adding eProcessingNetwork.com

I'm looking to add a patch for my merchant provider,
eProcessingNetwork, for integration into my Shopify site. They offer
several different ways for developers to integrate their payment
server, but I don’t think any of the existing payment gateways will
work directly out of the box.

Two questions:

1) What do you think the easiest method is to integrate with my
shopify site? I’m thinking Authorize.NET emulation would be the
simplest.

2) Assuming I submit a working patch for ActiveMerchant, how quickly
would I see an option to add this provider in the Shopify admin pages?

Generally I find the emulators don't work as advertised and would
recommend implementing the entire gateway. See this discussion:

It seems as though Mario may have completed the integration by now.

This depends on the quality of the patch and the availability of a
test account to test the integration with Shopify. Given a high
quality submission and test account credentials, etc, the turn around
time should be around 2 weeks.
